The Nordick Division of Young Corporation designs
and manufacturers custom hydraulic cylinders for use
in applications where performance and reliability are
critical. With over 40 years of experience Nordick
has developed the in-house capabilities to produce
high quality cylinders that meet the most exacting
customer specifications.
DEMANDING APPLICATIONS
Nordick cylinders will be found in unusually demanding
applications. An example of this is a gripper cylinder
used in tunnel boring operations. These cylinders work
below ground, have an inside diameter of 32 inches,
a 22 inch diameter piston rod and are tested to 7,000
p.s.i.
